Marica Moro was born in Milan. She taught art in private and municipal schools in Milan. She also organized different workshops about art and nature and she took part in many exhibitions in Italy and abroad. She is collaborating with two public school in Milan like Art teacher and she lives in Milan. 

In 2010 she participated in Water and biodiversity in collaboration with Galleria 10.2! and Visionlab Bovisa Triennale of Milan and in Culture Nature, curated by Alessandra Coppa and Fortunato D’Amico, a collateral event to the Biennale of Architecture in Venice. That year, in collaboration with Paolo Pini Art Museum, she also produced a sculptural installation at Niguarda Ca ‘Granda Hospital, sponsored by Gobbetto.

In 2011 the artist participated in the Garden Festival Green Street in Monza, curated by Alessandra Coppa, in 012 Proethic Prophetic Poetics at Porta Nuova train station in Turin and in the exhibition Designer in 3D at the Triennale Bovisa, where she exposed her monumental work Genesis, which was later displayed in Lissone Museum of Contemporary Art in 2012.

In 2013 the artist was present at the Genova Modern Art Gallery with the personal exhibition Semiequi, curated by Fortunato D’Amico and Maria Flora Giubilei; at the Aquarium of Milan (Expo days) with the large personal exhibition Water in Genesis, curated by Elena di Raddo, where she also organized educational workshops and talks on the subject of water and the environment; and was invited to participate in the exhibition of the Thetis collection at Spazio Thetis 106, a collateral event to the 55th International Art Exhibition in Venice.

In 2014 the installation Kitchengarden was selected within the conference-contest New garden for the City life, organized by the international magazine Paysage, which took place in Rimini; in the same year the artist participated in Figura Aqua curated by Alessia Locatelli and Mariarosa Pividori at the Ex-Fornace municipal space in Milan and in Superortopiù, curated by Fortunato D’Amico and n.o.v.a.civitas., in collaboration with Cittadellarte Pistoletto Foundation in the premises of Superstudio in Milan.

In 2015 Marica Moro presents for Expo two big installations for Milan: the first Grains Genesis is in Superstudio, for Terzo paradiso-Coltivare la città, curated by F.D’Amico, with Cittadellarte Pistoletto Foundation and the second Kitchengarden is in Fabbrica del Vapore, for Green Utopia-Sharing Design, curated by M.Corrado e C.Castelli.

The big sculpture Genesis is exhibited for Expo in the garden of Protestan Church, inside the kitchengarden’s installation curated by Andreas Kipar for Land.
In 2016 she partecipated in Metamorphosis, Biennal China-Italiy curated by S.Orlandi and Wang Jing Yi, Plastic cultural District, Pechino, China and in Premio Michetti 2016, curated by Luciano Caramel and Elena Di Raddo.

She partecipated in Creative Energy curated by E.Di Raddo, Palazzo della Regione Lombardia, Milan and in Grains, one man show curated by E.Di Raddo, Azimut Lombardia, Palazzo Bocconi, Milan.

In 2017 she partecipated in Sharing Design 2017, MilanoMakers, Salone del Mobile, Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan and in 2018 she took part at Movimento Arte Etica, curated by Sandro Orlandi ARTantide Gallery, Verona and in Bergamo Art Fair 2018, stand of Arte Etica, ARTantide Gallery.

In 2019 the artist is invited to partecipate in Mental Recycling curated by S.Orlandi in collaboration with Science gallery during the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Venice, Università Cà Foscari, and in FRIENDS, curated by A.Grandesso, at Spazio Thetis of Venice.

She is invited to partecipate in Bienal internacional de arte contemporânea de Curitiba, Brasil and in 2020 she Took part at Il carattere dell’Arte at Artantide Gallery in Verona and at Oltre l’etica at MASC, Museo de Arte Moderna de Santa Caterina, Florianopolis, Brasil.

In 2021 she partecipated in Kosmos, an one man show at Ex Studio Piero Manzoni, curated by E.Di Raddo, Milan and in Into the light, curated by S.Orlandi, Artantide Galley, Verona.
